About Andrew
Andrew married Sandee in 1984—they have been married 41 years. He retired to Twin Falls and for many years has called our beautiful Magic Valley Home. They have two children who live in Twin Falls and two grandchildren, ages 6 and 5. His concern for the American family is personal: he knows how expensive childcare is and wants to help shape the future of Idaho so his grandkids—and every Idaho family—can grow up in a state that stays conservative, free, and rooted in small-town values.
Andrew Messer was born in a small town in Indiana and graduated high school in 1974. He earned a degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Ball State University and is an Eagle Scout. Andrew has spent his life in service to others: he worked for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Boy Scouts of America, served with Habitat for Humanity, and was a regional director for the YMCA. He has also served his community as a police officer and dispatcher in Indiana, and as a juvenile probation counselor. He has also been past Rotary Club President and is always looking for ways to serve his neighbors.
A Baptist who believes Jesus Christ is his Savior, Andrew is pro-life, a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and protecting our constitutional rights. He is also an outdoor enthusiast. He is running for the Idaho Legislature, District 25A, to fight for personal liberty, less government spending, more tax cuts, and the kind of Idaho where the next generation can thrive.

Andrew is focused on the issues that matter to Idaho families and businesses.
Rein In Idaho Government Growth
Idaho's state government has grown 39% in the last five years. Andrew is concerned about that trajectory and will work to slow spending growth, lower taxes, and support common sense reforms like repealing the grocery tax so families keep more of what they earn.
Second Amendment & Concealed Carry
The Second Amendment exists to protect us from tyranny. Andrew is an enhanced concealed carry member and will defend the right to keep and bear arms without apology.
Pro-Life & Family
Andrew is pro-life and committed to the sanctity of life. He is deeply concerned about the American family—including the high cost of childcare—and will support policies that strengthen families.
Personal Liberty
Stand against government overreach. Andrew opposed COVID lockdowns and will fight to protect your freedom to live, work, and worship without unnecessary government intrusion.
Keeping Idaho Conservative
Preserve the Idaho our grandkids will inherit: small-town values, local control, and a state that stays free and conservative for generations to come.
Reduce Reliance on Federal Money
Reduce Idaho's dependence on federal funding so we're not held hostage by government shutdowns. Andrew will work to build a more self-sufficient state budget that protects critical services when Washington fails.
